Our client, leader in Energy industry, is looking to appoint a successful Lead Site Scheduler to based in Temane.
Responsibilities:
- EPC Contractor Time schedule control and challenge, including:
- The review and comments of all EPC Contractor's time schedules,;
- The continuous monitoring of the EPC Contractor's schedules including engineering activities, site activities for the erection of the Plant, Subsystems “Mechanical Completion” documentation release, walkdown and certification for turn-over to commissioning (hold points), commissioning and testing activities - in coordination with the OE Site Supervision Team, to be consistency with the Project milestones and works progress monitoring documents;
- Monitoring of the workforce present on Site based on mobilization and demobilization of the EPC Contractor and subcontractors labor force vs provided/ needed workforce to reach time for completion target;
- Monitoring of the efficiencies based on different level of key resources (welders, cable wirers…)
- Analysis of the critical path, subcritical paths, displayed by EPC Contractor, and suggesting on potential future critical path(s) detected by OE experience in general and by its own Lead Site Scheduler knowledges.
- Reporting to Head-office and to the Owner about deviations and discrepancies between the planned progress and the actual progress of the activities relative to the schedule, researching and analyzing the probable cause;
- Suggesting corrective action as appropriate to maintain the project schedule; simulating into P6 (“what if”),
- Providing feedback to time schedules through dedicated schedule meetings and weekly and monthly meetings with OE Head-office, EPC Contractor, Owner;
- Participation, as needed, in regular or punctual meetings (on Site or conference call) with the Owner, the EPC Contractor, Partners, OE Head-office Supervision Team;
- Reporting and deliverables to the OE Site Manager and to the OE Project Management as needed regarding his scope of works - for OE Weekly Activity Report;
Supervision of time schedule compliance is carried out:
- Daily by means of construction site inspection to check that the works are proceeding according to schedule, with contribution of the OE Site Supervision Team;
- Weekly, in preparation of the weekly meeting with EPC Contractor;
- Monthly meetings bring together the Owner, the OE, the EPC Contractor;
- Exceptionally whenever a major event directly impacts the construction critical path (claim);
- The Lead Site Scheduler shall raise immediate alerts to the Owner on identified potential time delays, deviation, or risk of deviation;
Qualifications:
- A Master of Science or Bachelor;
- 10 years of experience on similar works for the construction of several industrial plants (of CCGT plants would be appreciated).
- Advanced skills in Primavera P6;
- Skills in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting to Owner / to OE head-office;
- Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams;
- Driving force in reporting to the project management;
- Ethical behavior, corporate behavior;
- Good relational skills and taste for teamwork;
- Good autonomy of work;
- Rigorous organization;
- Clear, synthetic and pertinent reporting to management (speaking, writing, in English);
