We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant, based in our Georgetown, Guyana, office to join our dynamic team.


Job Description:

As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing operations by performing various creative and administrative tasks. Your contributions will help maintain and implement effective marketing strategies and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day activities within our global team. You would be supporting a dynamic and creative team, with opportunities to be involved in a variety of projects and tasks supporting the larger company. An interest in flexing your creative skills is an important part of the role, but you also need to be organized and efficient. You need to be comfortable communicating well both in person and utilizing digital communications tools as you support global teams with marketing initiatives and tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for social media platforms and other marketing channels.
  • Support the marketing team in organizing campaigns and developing marketing strategies.
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of platforms and tools utilized by our global teams, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Handle the ordering of marketing materials and manage logistical arrangements for marketing events.
  • Administer and maintain marketing-specific tools, ensuring they are utilized effectively and kept up-to-date.
  • Perform market research and analyze trends to provide insights to the marketing team.
  • Assist in compiling marketing performance reports and presenting insights to the team.
  • Liaise with recruitment teams to align marketing efforts with hiring needs and employer branding.
  • Support branding efforts by ensuring consistency across marketing assets, presentations, and collateral.
  • Assist in website updates, including minor edits, job postings, and content refreshes.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a marketing role, which can include internships or relevant extracurricular activities.
  • Proficiency in managing digital tools and platforms used for team collaboration and project management.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and pivot quickly as required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
