The newly appointed Executive Directors are:

Darren Smith is an Executive Director with 14 years of valuable experience at Global Edge Group, and over 25 years of experience at major Oil, Gas, and Power companies.  Darren specializes in managing a diverse global LNG client portfolio and high-level account management within the recruitment and oil and gas industry. With a solid educational and training background, Darren is dedicated to navigating the energy industry’s megaprojects, driving growth, and fostering innovative solutions. Darren is also personable, very communicative, and always looks to connect the dots.

Kirsten Thomson is an Executive Director with over 16 years of experience in the Staffing Industry. Having dedicated the last 11 years to our company, Kirsten serves as an Executive Director, overseeing critical functions such as HR, Contracts, Contractor Care, and IT. Distinguished by a First-Class Honors degree in Human Resources, Kirsten has not only accumulated extensive industry knowledge but has also honed a deep understanding of the intricacies of managing human capital. This academic achievement, coupled with her CIPD qualification, solidifies her credentials as a leader in the field. She is committed to the well-being of our employees and contractors, ensuring that our workforce not only performs at its best but also thrives under her strategic guidance.

Jason Hitchen is an Executive Director based out of the Houston, Texas office – he boasts over 25 years of Recruitment experience, delivering US and International staffing solutions to the Technical and Engineering market. Jason is in his 8^th year with Global Edge – with key responsibilities in Executive Account Management of major Oil & Gas clients, development of internal strategies and growth of international entities. Throughout his career, Jason has Industry experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Nuclear, Utilities, Marine & Maritime, Defense & Governmental, Manufacturing, and Industrial industries.

Kara Keenan is an Executive Director based out of the Houston, Texas office. Kara manages a robust Global delivery team of recruiters and entertains leading clients across multiple industries. She has served at the Global Edge for over 7 years and comes to the company with over 12 years of experience in account management, recruitment, and involvement with commercial, compliance, contracts. She has a broad understanding across key industries, processes, and disciplines, including Oil and Gas, aerospace, and manufacturing.
