Our client, a global energy company, is looking to appoint a successful N2 Fluid Pump Operator
to be based in Temane.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated N2 Fluid Pump Operator with expertise in Coil Tubing (CT) operations to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The N2 Fluid Pump Operator plays a crucial role in supporting a variety of CT operations essential to well intervention and completion activities. This position requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
CT Operations:• Milling: Removing obstructions, scale, or debris from the wellbore using milling tools.
• Section Milling: Cutting and removing casing or tubing sections from the wellbore using specialized tools.
• Cementing: Placing cement slurries in the annulus to isolate zones or secure casing.
• Logging: Running downhole tools to collect data on formation properties, well integrity, or fluid composition.
• Cleanout: Removing debris, scale, or other materials from the wellbore to restore production.
• Well Displacement: Pumping fluids into or out of the wellbore to displace fluids or change well conditions.
• Fishing: Retrieving stuck tools or equipment from the wellbore using specialized fishing tools.
• Well Abandonment: Plugging and abandoning wells that are no longer economically viable or environmentally safe.
• CT Tower Operations: Assisting in the setup, operation, and dismantling of CT towers for well intervention operations.
• Perform nitrogen pumping operations to enhance well productivity, facilitate wellbore cleanout, or assist in well control efforts.
Safety and Compliance:• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
• Conduct pre-job safety inspections and ensure that equipment is properly maintained and operated within specified parameters.
• Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and drills to enhance awareness and promote a culture of safety.
Equipment Maintenance:• Perform routine maintenance tasks on nitrogen pumping equipment and CT units to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or deficiencies to supervisors and assist in troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Inventory Management:• Assist in managing inventory of spare parts, consumables, and supplies required for CT operations.
• Support procurement activities by monitoring stock levels, organizing deliveries, and ensuring timely availability of necessary materials.
Training and Development:• Participate in training programs to maintain required certifications and enhance technical skills.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to CT operations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in CT operations within the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
• Valid IWCF well control certification (Preferable).
• All training-related certifications (Mandatory).
• Fluency in English (Mandatory).
• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
